Tammy Tangen, MA, LMHC:

 

Tammy Graduated from Washington State University in 2001 with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and, in 2006, earned her Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from City University.

 

Tammy has been working in the mental health field, in a variety of settings, since 2002. She has worked at Western State Hospital providing group treatment therapy and specialized treatment planning. She works with a variety of populations including those with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD and chronic mental health conditions. She also works with children, adults, couples and facilitates groups.

 

In her professional career, Tammy draws upon a variety of different approaches to meet the individual needs of her clients with an emphasis on CBT, TF-CBT, solution-focused and family systems.

 

Tammy is also a certified instructor for our "Impact of Divorce on Children" seminar.
