We are proud to announce a new Eating Disorder Treatment Group:  

Journey to a Joyful Relationship with food
Using Emotional Brain Training (EBT).  

 

This group will be held on
Wednesday evenings, beginning
January 18th, 2012

 

                • This group will be open to women struggling with:
                  Disordered eating, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder
                  (Compulsive Overeating) and/or body image issues.

                    The group will run for 10 weeks.


  • Emotional Brain Training (EBT) is an educational method to rewire self-regulation. It teaches its participants to eat when hungry, and nurture themselves primarily on foods that promote regulation and natural rewards.

An alternative to inpatient treatment programs

 

Eating disorders arise from many cultural sources: Desire to lose weight, healthy eating taken too far,
stress-driven overeating and negative body image. HopeSparks treats all types of eating and exercise problems in children, adolescents and adults. Services are available to everyone - both male and female. The aggressive. Dynamic and multidisciplinary treatment program helps each client find freedom and recovery.

 

In addition to individual counseling for people struggling with eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder, our Dietitian Lisa's services will help provide a more comprehensive approach to recovery from eating disorders. She comes to HopeSparks with a passion for nutritional guidance and a wealth of experience in this field.
