CFGC Dedicates new Children's Wing
There was a great turnout for the dedication of CFGC's new $1.3 million Children's Wing. The opening of this wing will double CFGC's capacity to help young victims of abuse.

After years of planning and $1.3 million our Children's Wing is finally finished. CFGC will host an open house and dedication ceremony March 16, 2006.

Mary Moon Retires after 23 years of serving children
For 23 years Mary Moon has dedicated her life and heart to the development and care of young children. Her expertise in early childhood education and tireless service has make our TLC program one of the best of its kind in the Tacoma/Pierce County region.

Record Turnout for 4th Annual Golf Tournament
Some 100 golfers converged on the Gold Mountain Golf Complex in August for CFGC's 4th annual golf tournament and they all contributed to an event that went off in first-rate fashion. Board member Doug Larson, who chaired the day on the links, did a tremendous job of increasing the number of sponsors from 12 to 18, attracting 65 new participants, and helping us raise total revenues of $16,865. Hats off to Doug and to all the other volunteers and staff members who made this event so successful.

CFGC Breaks Ground on a new Children's Wing
CFGC broke ground on a new 2,300 sq. ft. Children's Wing August 3, 2005. This state-of-the-art facility will provide a new home for our Healing Hearts program that works with young victims of sexual and physical abuse.

John Curley MC's 11th Annual Auction
John Curley, of Evening Magazine, was a highlight of CFGC's 11th Annual TLC Auction. He brought humor, energy and excitement to a first class event that raised over $80,000 for the Tacoma Learning Center program that provides early education services for children birth to 3 years old who have developmental and learning delays. Thank you to all who participated in partnering with CFGC as we strengthen families in our community.

CFGC and TLC Merge
We are proud to announce that Tacoma Learning Center (TLC) is our newest partner. As of January 1st, 2005 Tacoma Learning Center and CFGC have merged, making TLC our newest program. To learn more about this exciting program and how they serve developmentally delayed children ages 0-3.
