Care Net Pregnancy & Family Services of Pierce County
Free and confidential information and ultrasounds for women with crisis pregnancies. Care Net's staff consists of trained volunteer advocates and medical professionals and is overseen by a Medical Director and Medical Advisory Council comprised of 32 Doctors and Medical Professionals in Pierce County. The helpline is available to answer questions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. All services at Care Net are free and confidential.

A Common Voice
A Common Voice is a parent driven, nonprofit organization funded by Washington State Mental Health. The goal is to provide support, technical assistance, and to bring parents together who have experience raising children with complex needs.

Web Resource for Kinship Caregivers
The new Grandfamilies State Law and Policy Resource Center. This website provides information on state laws and legislation in support of grandfamilies. The easy-to-use database allows for a search of laws and legislation that address common legal questions surrounding relative care giving both within and outside the child welfare system. Each topic is analyzed and accompanied by a story to show key concepts. In addition, there is a list of related resources to learn more.
